園所所在社區為徐匯田林社區，社區較為成熟園所周邊是住宅群、中學和小學。園所總用地面積3000平方米建筑面積為1800平方米，基地南側為田林敬老院，西側為田林中心綠地。
The community where the garden is located is Tianlin Community in Xuhui, which is relatively mature. The surroundings of the garden are residential complexes, middle schools, and primary schools. The total land area of the park is 3000 square meters, with a building area of 1800 square meters. The south side of the base is the Tianlin Elderly Home, and the west side is the Tianlin Center Green Space.

為了能夠更好的向周邊環境融合，建筑整體形勢傾向田林綠地，與起伏的場地過渡，形成自然山體的錯落感。將原本橫向的立面肌理重新整合立體化，單一的水平二維線條有了動感向三維、四維空間升華轉變，內部空間與外部空間在這種張力的帶動下有了更加活躍的生命力，帶動小朋友在陽光、自然的時空里學習、生活成長。
原建筑大門和門廳之間的距離很近，入園時會導致小朋友集中在一處，入口大廳與樓梯垂直交通及廊道交集在一處，早高峰晨檢和下課時間會有人流擁擠交叉。走廊為內走廊無直接或間接采光及通風。
In order to better integrate with the surrounding environment, the overall situation of the building leans towards farmland, forests, and green spaces, transitioning to the undulating site, forming a sense of natural mountain sprawl. The original horizontal facade texture has been reintegrated into a three-dimensional form, and a single horizontal two-dimensional line has been transformed into a dynamic three-dimensional and four-dimensional space. Driven by this tension, the internal and external spaces have gained more active vitality, driving children to learn and grow in the sunshine and natural time and space.
The distance between the original building's gate and foyer is very close, which can cause children to gather in one place when entering the park. The entrance hall intersects with the vertical traffic and corridors of the stairs, and there will be crowds and intersections during morning rush hours and after class hours. The corridor is an internal corridor without direct or indirect lighting and ventilation.

為了拉長動線和緩解人流集中在一處的問題，主入口開在了北側。門廳向南活動場地打開，南北貫通，建筑與場地形成“8”字形回轉動線，內部入口大廳與廊道形成“十”字形，這樣的動線規劃解決了人員交集，有效分散人員。主入口與廊道在門廳形成了節點，垂直交通與廊道在次入口處形成了放大的空間節點，收放自如。南北和東西打通的動線，將南北和東西廣場景觀延續、對望，形成一步一景的場景感，將自然更好地帶入室內。
